What cord for aux in adapter?

I've got the Aux in outlet in my console, and was wondering what you all use for the cable to connect Ipod's with?
Is the only option using a cord w/ 3.5mm plugs on either end and plugging it into the headphone outlet on the Ipod, or are there better options out there? Specifically, I was wondering if there was a cable that would plug into the bottom outlet on the Ipod (where you'd normally plug in the Ipod cable to charge up the ipod or connect it via USB to a computer) and would have a 3.5mm plug on the other end to plug into the Aux in outlet--that way allowing the music to be transmitted while also charging up the Ipod?
What do you all use and/or recommend?
Thanks!

Easy. I use this one and it works perfectly, line out sound quality. Connect the dock connector to your ipod/iphone, and the 3.5mm jack to your Aux-in plug in your car: For only $2.60 each when QTY 50+ purchased - Audio and Sync Cable for iPhone / iPod (Apple Dock Connector to USB / 3.5mm Audio) | iPhone/iPod Cables

Next buy this usb car charger (where you connect the other usb end of the cable) to complete the kit and be able to play music and charge at the same time: For only $0.99 each when QTY 50+ purchased - Car Charger (Cigarette Lighter) to USB Female Converter - White | Car Charger Accessories

good luck.

Thanks! That looks pretty trick. Wonder if you can find the cables in black?
Also, where along the cable does the split take place going to the 3.5mm jack and usb end (if you have the 3.5mm plugged into the aux in outlet in the console, can the usb cable stretch far enough to reach the cigarette lighter outlet on the console or under the dash)?

I took a slightly more expensive route and had a local audio shop swap out the aux jack for an actual iPod plug. They also wired in a power tap to the iPod cable so the iPod is charged when plugged in. This cleaned up the potential multi-cable mess and gives line-out audio. Just be aware that the powertap remains "hot" even when the car is off and the key is out of the ignition. Cost around $150 for the whole setup.

Still looking for the full iPod integgration for the cdr 30 with Bose though. I think I might have an easier time finding Bigfoot.

Another alternative is to use a PocketDock from Sendstation:

The PocketDock plugs into the dock connector of your iPod and gives you a 3.5mm line out plug as well as a mini USB connection where you can add a charger of your choice.
